On August 7th at 6 pm to 9 pm, join KFAI personality Aaron Westendorp and his family to celebrate the virtual release of a documentary about him and his life.
Aaron’s friend Amy Goodman, host of KFAI favorite “Democracy Now” might have said it best, “He’s incredibly warm — and also insulting.” It’s guaranteed that you’ve never met anyone quite like him. Aaron has always taken every opportunity to stray from the beaten path, but then so did all of the Westendorp family —in large part because there often WAS no path for them. Join us on August 7 and see the paths less traveled taken by Aaron and Company. More info about the premiere, such as streaming platforms will be at https://www.facebook.com/events/1270445099828307, once the Westendorps figure it out!
Tickets are free, with an option to donate. All proceeds from this event will be used to kick off a fundraiser for a new accessible van for Aaron. Please give what you can to help us fulfill this need for him. Here is the donation link: https://www.freefunder.com/campaign/accessible-van-for-aaron
