For many of those in recovery from alcoholism or drug abuse, the tradition and support of in-person meetings, like those offered by Alcoholics Anonymous groups across the globe, have been absolutely vital to remaining sober. Since the COVID-19 pandemic shuttered gatherings in 2020, those in recovery communities have either adapted or, in some cases, relapsed.
