On Thursday, May 23rd 2019, KFAI raised the horns to the late Root of All Evil founder Earl Root. On-air since 1988, we handed a full day of airwaves over to current and pasts hosts, friends, scenesters and well-wishers. We also raised studio improvement funds in Earl’s name. Studio 6 (now unofficially Studio 666) will bear a plaque honoring Earl and his contribution to KFAI’s history and metal.
