Cerebus the Aardvark

The comic book series by Dave Simm and published by Aardvark Vanahaim Press in Canada was very popular when it was released in the early 1980s.  Dave Simm gave his permission for Shockwave to produced radio versions of the first six issues.  The inimitable Kara Dalkey did the adaptations.  Music was chosen by Matthew Tepper.

Tonight we bring you the first three issues of the comic series.

Radio Laffs of 1940, Part 1

On the radio station Ed Edmunds is the host, and he's brought in guest George L. Tirebiter, but the actors have decided to honor the picket lines outside the station, so Ed and George have to carry the entire day themselves.  Includes the Poon's Farm Show, the soap opera Over the Edge, and an episode of Mark Time of the Circumsolar Federation.  A live show that's not commercially available anywhere else.
