Steve McEllistrem

Steve McEllistrem has been a writer and editor for more than 20 years and has been a volunteer at KFAI since 2006.

His debut science fiction novel, The Devereaux Dilemma, the first book in the Susquehanna Virus series, was selected as a finalist for the 2014 International Book Award in Science Fiction. More information can be found at his website www.mcellistrem.com

His second novel in the series, The Devereaux Disaster, received a 5-Star review from Readers’ Favorite, was a Bookviews Pick of the Month for April 2014 and was also named a finalist for a 2015 International Book Award in Science Fiction.

The third entry in the Susquehanna Virus series, The Devereaux Decision, was selected as a finalist for the 2016 Minnesota Book Award, the 2016 Midwest Book Award and the 2016 International Book Award in Science Fiction.

The Devereaux Deity, the highly-anticipated fourth book in the Susquehanna Virus series, has also been selected as a finalist for both a Midwest Book Award and an International Book Award in Science Fiction.

He recently released two new novels, The Man Who Found His Moniker and Emerging Man. In addition, he is one of the editors of – and a contributor to – Boundaries Without: The Calumet Editions 2017 Anthology of Speculative Fiction.
