Elmar L. Romain, as Capt. 2much Freetime, d.j. cozy little and Sherwood B. Funn and various other handles, launched the Rocket Ship Ska Trip on KFAI way back in the late ’90s when his ska collection was quite a bit slimmer than it has since become. He’s played bass in 2 ska bands, The SkaTet and The Jinkies, various reggae and jazz/latin combos and currently plays in Salsabrosa (actually currently on hiatus), as well as recording multistylistic solo projects under the name Mutant Frogs, and now The Carr/McWheele Orchestra as well.
