Thanks to Eilen Jewell for calling in this afternoon in advance of our Freewheelin’ Friday show at the 331 Club.
Thanks also to all who came down Friday night. It was an awesome night of music, one of the best I’ve ever been involved with!! What an honor to be able to present this great artist and her band.
New music this week included Erik Koskinen, Movie Star Junkies, Fred Eaglesmith, Hot Club Sandwich, The Gentle Guest, Sixtyniners, and of course, Eilen Jewell’s new tribute to Loretta Lynn “Butcher Holler”.
A lot of great sounds tonight…including 2 new EPs from Secret Archives of the Vatican a dubwise summer mix (“Dubble Trubble from Pete Cogle’s Podcast Factory); the soundtrack from Eric Hilton’s new film Babylon Central; and a couple of Michael Rose selections to commemorate his appearance at the 5th annual Bayfront Reggae Festival.
