Meet Tycen Rhodes!! Tycen is a Minnesota-born fine artist and graphic designer whose talents reach far and wide, encompassing all manner of visual communications from illustration to brand strategy, product design to user experience.
Tycen graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree specializing in Graphic Design. After completing his BFA, he moved to Boulder, Colorado, and worked as a graphic designer with Finish Line. There, he partnered with iconic brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, Birkenstock, and others.
When he’s not hard at work building the next brand campaign for his clients, you can find him playing basketball, collecting shoes, and video games. He recently moved back to the Twin Cities to be closer to family and is excited to see what the next chapter will bring.

Behind the design: Drawing inspiration from the Walker’s Keith Haring: Art is for Everybody exhibition (4/27-9/8/24), KFAI’s logomark will be activated with new appendages and action lines as if it’s ready to bop, bounce, and bound right down the street!
