Good 'N Country Salutes The 1960s

Date:
Saturday, December 29, 2018 - 3:00pm

The 1960s was the decade in which country music began to appeal to a wider audience and became a multi-million dollar industry. The
airwaves on country radio were dominated by the "Nashville Sound" and, in some radio markets, the "Bakersfield Sound". Artists such as Buck
Owens, Connie Smith, Sonny James, Loretta Lynn and many others became household names.
Join us for a special edition of "Good 'N Country" as we salute the 1960s: some hits, some misses, and some obscurities by regional
artists including out-of-print recordings digitally remastered for the show. Tune in or log on for this FOUR HOUR SPECIAL 1-5PM central time Saturday December 29th on
KFAI-90.3FM and on the web at www.kfai.org.
