Thank you so much to our loyal members and dedicated volunteers who make our work possible!
Reflecting on our shared experiences this year, my admiration for you grows. I recognize our shared commitment to keep pushing forward, and it’s comforting to know that we can rely on each other. I marvel at our shared linkage through the radio. Because radio doesn’t rely on visuals, a present and intentional voice connects through your ears, inviting you to listen and feel. That simplicity creates something truly special—a mutual connection.
When the world around us feels overwhelming, KFAI is that steady presence, a reminder that we are not alone. Whether it’s local news, music, or the stories of our neighbors, our shared experience on the airwaves brings people together in ways that no other medium can.
Your support helps keep us on air, maintain the equipment, expand our programming, and ensure that the station remains a vital lifeline for our community. Without your generosity, we wouldn’t be able to carry on. Our work together continues no matter the political conditions or the challenges we face. If our broadcasts have been a source of comfort or connection for you this year, I hope you’ll consider contributing to keep the sound of our community firmly rooted and thriving.
Together, we can ensure that the airwaves remain a space where stories are told, voices are heard, and we continue to build something meaningful for the future.
Here are a few ideas of how you can directly impact the station and our shared mission; any dollar amount is genuinely appreciated:
- $100 helps fund live community events, bringing people together and amplifying local voices.
- $250 supports community connection, allowing us to deepen our reach across the Twin Cities.
- $500 helps maintain the live-studio equipment, ensuring that the sound quality you rely on stays clear and strong.
