3/25/2012 Sound Affects: A Radio Playground

With guest host, Dick Stevens, we bring a few speak-songs from The Android Sisters. They were invented by Meatball Fulton when the actors for Ruby episodes weren't available and he needed something to put into the pipeline for expectant radio stations. We have the Android Sisters Greastest Hits album from ZBS, and The Best of the Android Sisters CD from EMrecords in Japan.
And we have a couple of short subjects produced right here at KFAI. First, two very silly episodes of Crime Buster, an audio comic strip performed live during the Audio Theater Marathon on KFAI on January 1, 2000. And then Hobson's Choice, by Carol Critchley, performed live at the Twin Cities Radio Theater Workshop, on stage at the Rarig Center at the University of Minnesota and broadcast live on KFAI and KUOM in 1997.
