This short and sweet half-hour weekly program presents a panoply of flamenco music ranging from the first to the very latest recordings. Our shows are spiked with exclusive interviews of contemporary performers (including both the famous and the obscure), and we also feature a local - and when appropriate, international - performance and events calendar. ON SATURDAYS JULY 2 AND AUGUST 6, GUITARISTS MICHAEL HAUSER AND SCOTT EICHORST WILL BE ENTERTAINING FROM 6 - 8 PM AT EL BURRITO MERCADO, located on Cesar Chavex Blvs in West St. Paul. There is no charge for this event.
ON WEDNESDAY AUGUST 3RD, A TOUCH OF SPAIN WILL BE APPEARING AT NOON AT NORTHRUP PLAZA AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA. Guitarists Michael and Tony Hauser, flute/sax player Chuck Armstrong, and bassist Tom Dades will be joined by as of yet unnamed flamenco dancers. No charge.
