KFAI is proud to present Poquito y Bueno, the first worldwide English-language flamenco webcast! This short and sweet half-hour weekly program presents a panoply of flamenco music ranging from the first to the very latest recordings. Our shows are spiked with exclusive interviews of contemporary performers (including both the famous and the obscure), and we also feature a local - and when appropriate, international - performance and events calendar. Tune-in and tune-up your aficionado rating!
MAY 7 - Kristina plays more tientos this week, featuring singers Carmen Linares, Mayte Martin, and Aurora Vargas.
MAY 14 - Kristina attepts to take the chill out of the air with a variety of tangos.
MAY 21 - Kristina compares and contrasts fandangos de Huelva and Calana, Bulerias de Cadiz and Jerez, and soleares de Alcala and Jerez. This show is very educational in approach and Kristina talks over the music often, so it will surely drive some fans crazy. Kristina apologizes to them in advance.

ON SUNDAY MAY 24 AT 5PM, HOME-GROWN AND WELL-TRAVELED GUITARIST JUANITO PASCUAL WILL PLAY AT ZORONGO STUDIO as part of their Sunday Series. There will be a charge for this event.
ON THURSDAY MAY 28 FROM 7 - 9 PM, ANDA FLAMENCO WILL PERFORM AT CONGA LATIN BISTRO, located at 501 E. Hennepin Ave. in Minneapolis. This event is free of charge.
ON SUNDAY MAY 31 ZORONGO FLAMENCO WILL PRESENT THEIR ANNUAL STUDENT SHOW, "GAZPACHO," AT 4 AND 6 PM AT PATRICK'S CABARET, 3010 Minnehaha Ave. S, next door to Zorongo Studio. There will be a charge for this event.
