It's a spring pledge drive edition of the Pop Shop, and it's also 1966--arguably the best year in music. From Dylan's "Blonde on Blonde," to The Beach Boys' "Pet Sounds," 1966 was a phenomenal year in music. Tonight we spin cuts by Love, the Turtles, the Yardbirds and the Creation. Plus DJ Izzy's "Super Weirdo" set featuring 13th Floor Elevators, Capt Beefheart, the Mothers of Invention and "word jazz" by Ken Nordeen.
