December 2013 Poquito y Bueno: A Short and Sweet Flamenco Show Archives

For music, it's caracoles, peteneras, and serranas, and for a chat Kristina talks with Jerezano Juan Parra, a favorite teacher of hers.

More caracoles, peteneras, and serranas, and Juan Parra talks about the young generation of flamenco dancers.

It's the holiday show and Kristina plays flamenco Christmas favorites while Maestro Juan Parra takes us behind the scenes of his lastest show in the Festival de Jerez. The music on this show came to us from cantaora "La Tormenta," currently residing in Chicago and better known to non-flamencos as Debby Storms.

No talking, just music by which to reflect upon the year past – the adagio from the Concierto de Aranjuez, de Sarasate's Carmen Fantasy, and a couple of gorgeous new pieces to ease you pensively into the new year.
