July 2010 Encuentro Archives

The first 90 minutes explore the African heritage in the music of a number of Latin American countries. As promised for this new schedule, the last ½ hour is entirely dedicated to the Spanish language; today I’ll touch upon a few proverbs. The last 15 minutes will present a short story by the Argentinean Roberto Fontanarrosa.

In the last ½ hour of the program I include a couple of poems interpreted by the “Declamador” Manuel Bernal.
