Except for its last 15 minutes (which include some examples of music from Northern Mexico), the first hour consists of Venezuelan music. The last ½ hour consist of poetry by Federico García Lorca and songs inspired by his poetry. It is thus that “Encuentro” mark the staging of “La casa de Bernarda Alba” by Pangea Theater and Teatro del Pueblo.
The first ½ hour includes two variations of Mexican regional music and a few Boleros. The second ½ hour presents music by two prominent singers-songwriters from Andalusia (Southern Spain), Carlos Cano and Joaquín Sabina. The theme for the last ½ hour is “tangos”. The last 10 minutes include “Tango”, a short story by the Argentinean Luisa Valenzuela, read by the author herself.
