July 2017 Freewheelin' Archives

Angie Pykonen returned to the show.  New music by Steve Earle & The Dukes, ZZ Ward, Hard Working Americans, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Neil Young & The Promise, Peter Perrett, Jim Keaveny, and Craig Finn.  Bill Kirchen was supposed to call in, put had troubles on the road. Regardless, we played a heap of his music.

Usual bouncing-ball of tunes by the likes of Gov't Mule, Steve Earle & The Dukes, Delta Moon, Blind Boy Fuller, The Radiators, Scott H. Biram, Bunker Hill, Tdeschi Trucks, Blue Rodeo, Lukas Nelson & The Promise Land, etc.  Plus, regional material by Nicholas David, Black-Eyed Snakes, Useful Jenkins,  Jeff Ray & The Stakes,  andThe 4ontheFloor.  CRANK THIS ONE UP FOLKS!

New releases included Benjamin Booker, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Sonny Landreth, and Amy Jack.  Other artists include Elvin Bishop, Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell, The Margraves, Tony Joe White, Jerry Jeff Walker, Tom Rush, CC Adcock. This is my next-to-last show on Wednesdays.  The show will be moving to Thursday afternoons from 4-6pm.  As always, available via archive 24-7.
