The Twonky, by Lewis Padgett, in which a man gets a new stereo console, and then finds it can do a number of things a regular stereo can’t do, including think for itself. And Shape, by Robert Sheckley, where invading aliens assume a shape appropriate to their function, and wonder at humans who seem to have the same shape all the time.

The Case of the Calico Lobster, from the Cape Cod Radio Mystery Theater. Captain Underhill and Dr. Scofield get involved in a love story and the tale of a kidnapped lobster. The Mob seems to be involved, or at least a part of the Mob. Tonight, Part 1, conclusion next week.

This is the conclusion of the story begun last week, involving a kidnapped blue lobster, a mobster, and Captain Waverly Underhill. Then we have a story from the History of detective Harry Nile, called The Case of the Baffled Ballerina. A double header of mysteries.

The story concerns Mr. Wilson who rents his house to some foreign visitors, but then wants to kick them out because someone else is offering way too much money to buy the house – as long as he can move into it right away. The renters insist on staying. Why is everyone so eager to stay just here, and just now?
