Tonight’s program pays homage to the musical tradition coming from the African Diaspora, beginning with Nigerian Master, Babatunde Olatunji, to Cuban pianist, Omar Sosa, and Brooklyn-based Afro-beat, Antibalas. Afro-Peruvian classics and the hypnotic music of Fela Kuti conclude this program of healing music and spirituality, dedicated to the people of Haiti.
