Doug Huemoeller, President of Kitchen Window, appears on tonight’s program to speak of upcoming classes in French cooking at his store in Uptown’s Calhoun Square. Nathalie Georgia, the store’s buyer,also is on and both speak of Le Creuset cookware from France and other news in the food and preparation areas.
On tonight’s program, Caryl interviews Christina Selander Bouzouina, director of the Alliance Francaise.
Christina will speak on the many opportunities at the Alliance for the public: classes for all levels taught by native speakers, cultural events (opera, ballet, special shows), regular French films, get-togethers for young professionals, and much more. She also will bring some of her favorite French recordings.
Francois Fouquerel, dean of the French at Concordia College’s Language Villages, is interviewed on tonight’s program. Francois speaks of the 16 languages at the individual villages for students ages 13-18 in the summer, the adult programs and the family programs offered in fall and winter. He brings songs used to teach French and those of the students themselves singing.
In the 9:00-10:00 PM time, Caryl plays old and new French music and gives the announcements of events of interest in the Twin Cities.
