Jr.‘s actual birthday show opened with a track called “On the Mountaintop”- followed by an African diaspora set from the Garifuna in Belize, recently visited Malian vocalist Rokia Traore’ and the upcoming Bassekou Kouyate’s visit & his newest release. Also previewing the Dakha Brakha return visit to The Cedar after a stunning free show at the end of summer. The show closes with a Nordic female vocalist set featuring the lovelies, Sanna Kurki-Suonio & Mari Boine !
