A heavyweight dubwise program with tons of new stuff…and a celebration of Pi Day. Starting out with the freshest rootical dub album History, Mystery, Destiny from Ital Horns Meets Bush Chemists Featuring Rico. This was followed by crucial new material from Dubzoic (on Irie On Air); Stand High Patrol with the album Midnight Walkers and the new “United We Stand” 12” from Original Bass Foundation (OBF) with Kenny Knots. And DJ Baby Swiss did his special “Happy Pi Day” mix for the 3rd hour: where the album order of the tracks was 3,1,4,1,5,9,2,6, and 5. Oh, and it included the track “Pi” from Kate Bush (Yup…).

Dubbing and clubbing around the world again in the Echo Chamber…with new releases from: Original Bass Foundation, DJ Cris Macumbadub, Trevor “The Technician” McKenzie, Midnite, Stand High Patrol, Dubsalon, Anthony B & Subatomic Sound, Erykah Badu/Adi Dick, and more. Also new tonight was the “Listen to the Music” Caltone Records archive compilation on Pressure Sounds.

It was a crazy kind of night….in a cloud of ganja smoke…as Dr. StrangeDub and DJ Baby Swiss presented the annual Echo Chamber “Free the Marijuana” special. From the “Free the Marijuana” anthem of Audio Active & Bim Sherman, to Bill Laswell’s “Hashisheen” album; from I.R.P.‘s “I Dream of Marijuana”, to “Roll It” from Soom T & Mungo’s Hi-Fi, it was a very heady show indeed.
