August 2017 Echo Chamber Archives

Tonight we celebrated the 55th anniversary of Jamaica’s Independence in 1962! Of course, it’s impossible to cover the history of Reggae music in just 4 hours…but we did our best to cover a variety of artists and styles. Of course, Roots & Dub come forward! The lineup included: Derrick Morgan, Toots & the Maytals, Bob Marley & the Wailers, The Jamaicans, The Slickers, Desmond Dekker & the Aces, Errol Brown/The Supersonics, The Skatalites, Derrick Harriott, Gregory Isaacs, Burning Spear, Keith Hudson, Addis Pablo, Augustus Pablo & The Upsetters, Bim Sherman, Prince Far-I, Burning Spear, Justin Hinds & Jamaica All Stars, Jimmy Cliff, The Heptones, and many more…
