Tony Helms, Kate Whitnah, Felicia Atkinson, Zahra Mohamed, four individuals in the Partners in Policymaking training program will discuss their four months of experience in learning advocacy skills.  At the halfway point in their eight months of training, they will reflect on their new awareness in the areas of education, county services, housing and the historical treatment of individuals with disabilities.  Participants learn skills that will help them build partnerships with local and state organizations to improve the quality of life for those with disabilities.  Partners in Policymakin
