I had some guests today. Larry McDonough and Richard Terrill stopped by to talk about their appearance at Blackbear Crossings as part of the Twin Cities Jazz Fest. During the last 1/2 hour, young pianist Will Kjeer came by to talk about the Dakota Combo, headlining the Youth Stage at the festival. Also played tunes from other artists appearing at the festival. The 45 rpm Single of the week was Blues for Trombones, by JJ Johnson & Kai Winding on Savoy, from 1954.
