For this second show of KFAI’s Pledge Drive I featured music from Rueben Wilson, Count Basie, Cory Wong, Charlie Parker, early Miles Davis, Nancy Harms, and new music from Colin Dean, Sophia Shorai, and Arthur Lipner. For the Mingus Moment, I played Tonight at Noon, by Charles Mingus.

I also played music by Charles Kynard, Miles Davis, Big Joe Turner, Sun Ra, Jelly Roll Morton, and Duke Ellington, as well as new music from The Clayton Brothers, Dan Block, and Joe Magnarelli. Don’t forget the Mingus Moment, featuring An Open Letter to the Duke.
