For the second show of the Spring Pledge Drive, I concentrated on playing Twin Cities artists, especially those that had been on the show. Thanks to David and Mason for their pledges, and to Angie Pykonen for stopping by to pledge rap.

Ellen Lease and Pat Moriarty came by to talk about their upcoming performance with Adam Linz and Phil Hey. They will be playing free music at Studio Z in Lowertown, Saint Paul. That is, they will be improvising without charts or tunes. They brought along a couple of examples of spontaneously improvised music to give listeners an idea of what to expect.
