RICHARD PAINTER is seen on news programs as a regular critic of Donald Trump for conflicts of interest and other ethical violations of the presidency. A U of MN Law School professor, Painter was ethics lawyer in the George W.  Bush Administration—-advising Cabinet-members and other Executive Branch appointments on addressing financial conflcits of interest to working in the government (NOT anything to do with the torture scandal—-which was the DoJ). Now, Painter is challenging appointed Sen.
