21 Day Kick Start Diet – Dr. Neal Barnard

It used to be that veganism was only for the extreme eaters who in abstaining from all meat and dairy products received some tough criticism from nutrition and medical experts.

But attacks on vegans are becoming less frequent as health and medical professionals have discovered just how healthy, albeit disciplined, this way of eating can be if it’s done correctly.

On the heels of Alicia Silverstone’s *he Kind Diet*comes the 21-Day Vegan Kickstart, a three-week plan masterminded by Dr. Neal Barnard, one of the country’s leading health advocates and a member of The Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine.

Kinshasha has an in-depth conversation with Dr. Barnard about this important three week program to jumpstart a new healthy life.

The 17 Day Diet – Reset your metabolism and transform your body in just 17 days

Kinshasha talked with Dr. Mike Moreno about his 17 Day Diet weight loss plan that was initially created to avoid the holiday weight gain. The beauty about the diet is that it can be used at any time throughout the year to shed a few pounds.

Every 17 days you’re changing what you’re doing. “We call it metabolic, or body, confusion,” Dr. Mike explains.

There are four cycles:
•Cycle 1:
Accelerate. Encourages rapid weight loss, cleansing and fat burning. Discourages fat storage.

•Cycle 2: Activate. Resets the metabolism.

•Cycle 3: Achieve. Develop good eating habits, re-teach yourself how to eat carbs.

•Cycle 4: Arrive. A combination of the first three Cycles.

On weekends, enjoy your favorite foods.
