3/10/2009 Dig Up The Roots

Mike Elias, former KFAI D. J. and currently a regular D. J. at King and I Thai brings in gems from his soul music collection, focussing on roots of soul music, mainly from the '60s. Artists such as soul architect Ray Charles, soul staples such as the Staple Singers, Curtis Mayfield, Sam Cooke, James Brown and Aretha, and rare surprises.
