2/9/2009 Good Noise

About my Guest:
Steve Lerach is a child of the Atomic Age who has lived in the Twin Cities most of his long life. he has frittered away his time being a chef, a teacher, an author, and a volunteer radio programmer. In fact, he was one of the original on-air program hosts in the early years of Fresh Air Radio's existence. For most of the past decade Steve has been an instructor at a local culinary school while simultaneously injuring himself with power tools as he remodeled an old house in St. Paul. Late last year his book Fried: Surviving Two Centuries in Restaurants was published by Borealis Books, and quickly became the best-selling book he had ever written. He lives in the Mac-Groveland neighborhood with his wife Ann and, on occasion, his son Sandy, and Claudine the Cat from Hell.

Steve's book can be purchased through www.Amazon.com and through www.mnhs.org (the publisher is Borealis Books)
