*Edward Albee, playwright*

Edward Albee America's leading playwright provocateur, now an octogenarian, always has new plays dancing in his head.

Albee is a theatrical experimenter whose work jumps the boundaries of American drama.
As described by the playwright himself his plays are an examination of the American Scene, an attack on the substitution of artificial for real values in our society, a condemnation of complacency, cruelty, and emasculation and vacuity, a stand against the fiction that everything in this slipping land of ours is peachy-keen.

A member of the Dramatists Guild Council, winner of three Pulitzer Prizes and three Tony Awards for Best Play, a Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement (2005); the Gold Medal in Drama from the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters; as well as the Kennedy Center Honors and the National Medal of Arts (both in 1996). Albee is the President of the Edward F. Albee Foundation, Inc.:http://www.albeefoundation.org and is a contributing writer to The Gay and Lesbian Review:http://www.glreview.com/issues/13.1/13.1-albee.php

*A Delicate Balance by Edward Albee*

*The Naked I: Monologues from Beyond the Binary by Tobias K. Davis*

Following in the footsteps of Eve Ensler's Vagina Monologues, The Naked I explores the bodies and experiences of transgender, gender-queer, and intersex individuals. The play, which includes monologues, duologues, and short sketches, shares stories about differently-gendered people exploring their bodies and dissecting society's assumptions. Tender and heart wrenching, deeply funny and erotic, The Naked I boldly explains and explores the land beyond 'male' and 'female'.

*An Evening of Harold Pinter in Promenade Style*

Curated by Scotty Reynolds
Performances of some of Pinter's unique and rarely performed works, along with an original piece inspired by Pinter's memory plays. Performed with the audience moving through nooks and crannies of warehouse space. Admission by suggested donation fee.

Harold Pinters’ Family Voices directed by Jeffry Lusiak
The failures of memory and communication collide as a young man moves to the big city and lives among unsavory and decadent characters in this 1980 radio play.

Harold Pinter’s One for the Road directed by Maggie Scanlan
A young family is brought in for questioning, and torture in one of Pinter’s most politically satiated works.

The Black and White directed by Terry Hempleman
Inspired by one of Pinter’s earliest short sketches, a female vagrant at a milk bar fends off loneliness through seemingly trite observations of bus routes.

These Are the Men written and directed by Blake Bolan
Using Pinter’s classic style of ambiguity and absurdity, this original piece transplants Pinter’s vernacular to the Oedipus cycle.
