Tonight we celebrated the historic election of Barack Obama, while commemorating the life of my late Jamaican father-in-law Robert. And what better way to celebrate than with an All-Jamaican program? We got the party started with Cocoa Tea who satisfied both themes with his catchy Barack Obama song. The other featured Obama song was Mista Majah P's excellent Yes We Can. The other Jamaicans filling out the bill included Marcia Griffiths, Toots the Maytals, Burning Spear, Lee Perry, Dennis Brown, King Tubby, Bob Marley the Wailers, Cornell Campbell, Alton Ellis, Michael Rose, Ansell Collins, Augustus Pablo, Jocob Miller, Joe Higgs, Mutabaruka, Clinton Fearon, and more...
