*War of the Worlds Special, Part 2* - We have excerpts from the Lux Radio Theater version of 1955, starring Dana Andrews. It is based on the 1954 George Pal movie starring Gene Barry. Introduces a love interest and fighting the Martians with Hydrogen bombs. And excerpts from the 1994 a href=http://www.latw.org/ target=_newL.A. Theater Works/a version of the original radio script, featuring an all Star Trek cast, including Leonard Nimoy, Brent Spiner, Gates McFadden and directed by John DeLancie.
Our WoW parodies are from the Shockwave radio show's live performance of Warp of the Worlds, written mostly by Kate Worley, as a take-off on the language and sounds of the Howard Koch script. And we have parts from Tom Curley's Half-hour Radio Show series, in which the Martians came because of a special on Reeboks at the Mall.
