Proceeds from the event will help support our work to improve health care access and the quality of health care received by trans and gender nonconforming people in Minnesota. Many of you are familiar with (or may have even benefited from) our website, Trans Friendly Provider Directory, annual Trans Community Health and Wellness Fair, and Trans Health Matters community forum. We also have a training program that educates health professionals and students on how to provide equitable, trans-competent care.
Although we receive funding from the GLBT foundations PFund and Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice, we also rely on contributions from our friends, family, providers, allies, and fellow community members to support us. Your donations could make it possible for us to expand our services to communities in greater Minnesota, translate our website into Hmong, Spanish and Somali, produce training videos and materials, or establish office space so that we can be more accessible to the communities we serve.
