Echo Chamber

It's a Worldwide DUB Affair Baby!

Join Dr. StrangeDub and DJ Baby Swiss (aka Capt. 2much FreeTime) in the Echo Chamber your worldwide dub club. With the heaviest dubs, the most conscious roots, and the funkiest club beats, all chilled and mixed into a subsonic stew, the Echo Chamber is the hippest place to be every Wednesday morning from 2 to 5 a.m.

A typical show features a heavy dose of old school roots dub reggae and a potent shot of new school roots and dub. But dub just lays the foundation and holds the trip together: the DJ dub doctors cover the entire reggae rainbow, and they pull in the heaviest chilled beats from clubs around the world. For most shows, Dr. StrangeDub is at the controls for the first 2 hours, while DJ Baby Swiss "runs tings" in the last hour of the show.

Then there was the fresher-than-fresh tracks from the upcoming Lee Perry album as originally broadcast on Jak Maken Zasial's "More Than Reggae" radio program on Radio Poland. Added to this was a nice set from Half Pint to celebrate his May 4 show in Minneapolis. And that's just a start...

It was a crazy kind of night....in a cloud of ganja smoke...as Dr. StrangeDub and DJ Baby Swiss presented the annual Echo Chamber "Free the Marijuana" special. From the "Free the Marijuana" anthem of Audio Active & Bim Sherman, to the "Hashish Poem" from the "Hashisheen" album, from I.R.P.'s "I Dream of Marijuana", to "Hash in My Brain" from Dub*Line Mystical Dub Powa Movement, it was a very heady show indeed.
