7/1/2014 Write On! Radio

We speak with Steve Brezenoff about his acclaimed new young adult novel, Guy in Real Life. He is also the author of the young adult novels Brooklyn, Burning and The Absolute Value of -1, as well as dozens of chapter books for younger readers.

And we chat with Robert M. Zink about his new book, The Three-Minute Outdoorsman: Wild Science from Magnetic Deer to Mumbling Carp. He is the Breckinridge Chair in Ornithology at the Bell Museum of Natural History at the University of Minnesota, where he also serves as the curator of birds and is a professor of ecology, evolution and behavior.

We also talk with Jennifer Bowen Hicks about the Minnesota Prison Writing Workshop, which needs your help to incorporate as a nonprofit and to raise funds for a matching grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
