The Lowest Pair with The Dead Pigeons – at The Cedar

The Lowest Pair
The Dead Pigeons
Date:
Friday, April 4, 2014 - 8:00pm

KFAI is pleased to sponsor The Lowest Pair and The Dead Pigeons at the Cedar Cultural Center on Friday, April 4, at 8:00 pm.

This is a vinyl release celebration for banjo-pickin' duo The Lowest Pair, and a CD release for The Dead Pigeons, mainstays of the West Bank / Minneapolis roots music scene. Each ticket sold comes with a free copy of the new Dead Pigeons CD, Even If I Knew!

The Lowest Pair is a quirky, old-time roots-influenced duet, featuring the high lonesome harmonies of banjo-pickin' songsters Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee (The Boys n' the Barrels). They perform both traditional and original music, often nestling-in somewhere between. With their city folk front and back porch sentiment, this new, sweet, and powerful duo are turning heads across the country.

The Dead Pigeons perform a mix of well-crafted original songs, leavened with some timeless covers.
