1/23/2008 Echo Chamber

Another MLK special inna Echo Chamber...and the dub was thumpin'. Along with playing nearly all of Dr. King's I Have A Dream speech (in pieces and repeating sections), we played some heavy new dubs and roots. The highlighted artist/producer was Aram Scaram out of Toronto -- featuring his latest project, Citizen Sound, plus earlier work with Version Xcursion and under his own name. In keeping with the tribute to MLK, and echoing his message, the program included such tracks as: Brothers and Sisters (Aram Scaram w/ Kultcha Ites); Dub Fussin' and Fightin' (Dub Works); Preacher Man (Junior Marvin); Stem the Tide (Abassi All Stars w/ Earl Sixteen); Get Involved (Citizen Sound); Solomon's Temple (Roots Dynamics); Dub Positive (Burning Babylon); and Free the People (I Wayne).
