Feature Presentation - Call Me Joe is a story by Poul Anderson about Ed, a paraplegic who projects his mind into an artificial body named Joe, who was built to be able to explore the surface of Jupiter. But things keep going wrong, and an expert is brought in to help determine the source of the problems. Produced for the Sci-Fi Radio series. If the idea sounds familiar, some have said that Poul Anderson should have been credited for it in the movie, Avatar. Anderson graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in physics, and he used his scientific training to be able to write some of the best science fiction of his generation.
