HIV Tranmission

Dr. Keith Henry, MD from the Hennepin County Medical Center's Positive Care Center joins Pete to discuss the use of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) to reduce the transmission of HIV.

To get more information on PrEP or to start a PrEP protocol, contact Chris Waller at HCMC at 612-873-7784.

PrEP for uninsured people is available at the Red Door Clinic.

Conversion Therapy

Gabe Aderhold and Alec Fischer, students at the U of M, co-founded Can't Convert Love MN, an organization aimed at legislatively banning conversion therapy in Minnesota.

Alec also discusses his filmmaking endeavors, and specifically talks up his anti-bullying film Minnesota Nice, now being shown in festivals, schools, and soon, on TV.  Gabe discusses his political activities after his recognition by Queerty as being one of 8 gay youth leaders, and by Outfront Minnesota as being one of 25 under 25.
