5/15/2013 Art Matters

An interview with Tricia Khutoresky, Founder and Curator at Public Functionary, a new exhibition space in NE Minneapolis. For Art-A-Whirl week-end, the gallery will host a dialogue with Chicago-based artist Carlos Rolon (aka Dzine) and Jerry Saltz, art critic for New York Magazine. www.publicfunctionary.org

Also, a discussion about "This Side of Paradise," a new musical at the History Theatre about the life of F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, St. Paul's original "It" couple of the Jazz Age. Set in a sanitorium in 1940, actors Norah Long and Kendall Anne Thompson both play Zelda, and we discuss her role as the muse, and the rise and crash of the iconic literary couple.
