4/14/2013 Sound Affects: A Radio Playground

Feature Presentation - The Twin Cities' own Northern Lights Radio Theater presents The Lost Elevator.  The play was written in 1931 by Percival Wilde, and is produced by brother/sister company of Daniel and Meagan Wanschura, in conjunction with Samuel French publishers.  Several people are trapped in a stopped elevator, and react in their own ways to the stressful situation.  (http://thelostelevator.com/)  (http://www.samuelfrench.com/p/8034/lost-elevator-the)

Selected Shorts - From the Champaign-Urbana Radio Theater in Illinois we bring you Abra Cadaver, wherein a murder happens at a swanky party in the a swanky part of town, and a police detective is called in.  Much comedy ensues.  Written by Dave Stinton and performed live.

From KOEH-FM in Dipperville, MN we bring you Voting Blues, from the KOEH shorts appearing on KFAI's The Morning Blend show on Tuesday mornings, early.  Think of it as an introduction to next week's Sound Affects when we'll have the cast and crew from One-Eyed Hog productions in the studio.
