Feature Presentation - Gulliver's Way, Part 2. Several people with accents are ordered around by Mrs. Gulliver, who has an idea about how everything should be done, and she's determined that everyone will do it that way. Obtained from the archives of KUOM radio at the University of Minnesota, though likely produced at the WHA at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. There are no credits on the program nor on the box the tape came in, so it's origins are at the moment unknown. We got it from Marion Watson, who was the station manager at KUOM during the late 60s and early 70s.
Short Subjects - From the Iowa Radio Project we have a little work by Dan Coffey (Ask Dr. Science) about a man who's trying to rob a convenience store. Dan produced the series at the U of Iowa in Iowa City back in 1993-94. And we follow that with a short story from Hans Christian Anderson titled, In A Thousand Years, from the 2000X series on NPR and produced by the late Yuri Rasovsky.
