Annual "Dearly Departed" show co-hosted with David Cummings. Each year we cover music by artists who passed away the previous year. Part one airs on David's cool program "Rockin' In Rhythm", 2:00 Monday afternoons. Then we conclude it on Freewheelin'.

The photo to the right is James "Sugar Boy" Crawford. He wrote Jock-A-Mo, which is a staple of New Orleans music….it's also known as Iko-Iko and was a big hit for the Dixie Cups and others. Sadly, he never received a penny for writing that song. -
