11/30/2012 Fubar Omniverse

Some live Os Mutantes in preparation for their appearance at The Cedar, followed by a mandolin summit by Andy Statman and Peter Ostroushko. The second hour featured a visit with Gary Burger of The Monks, in town for a show at Lee's with L'Assassins opening.  Next, tunes that were part of a night of reveling in The Who with my good buddy Greg "Bosco Fubar" Carr. We fully enjoyed The Who's performance of "Quadrophenia" in its entirety at Target Center, and ambled across the street to hear a gang of local musicians tackle "The Who By Numbers" at 7th St. Entry.  White jackets with side vents, five inches long...Rounded out the show with something new from Madison's Reptile Palace Orchestra.
