Please join Laura Waterman Wittstock on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 9 am to 10 am as she talks with historian and writer Rhoda R. Gilman. Ms Gilman has published extensively in the fields of Minnesota and Upper Midwest history. She is a founding member of Women Historians of the Midwest and a former candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota on the Green Party ticket. As we come to a close of the 150th anniversary of the Dakota War of 1862 after which the largest public execution in U.S. history took place on December 26 of that year, we will discuss Henry Sibley's involvement and profiteering. We will also discuss her new book "Stand Up!" that also moves across 150 years -- but with a focus on the protest movement. This is a show not to be missed!
