Laura Waterman Wittstock: Seneca Nation Elections

Jim Rudolph sat in for Laura Waterman Wittstock and  talked to her about the election on the Seneca Nation in New York. There were a substantial number of candidates running for president: a two year term that switches from one of the two reservation areas in the nation. Crowds were out at the various campaign headquarters which all featured copious amounts of Seneca foods, including corn soup, fried bread (not a Seneca food), fruit pies, and some of the more modern pasta dishes. Deer meat, fish, and squirrel were not evident - these are more of the traditional foods.
