We speak with Moises Velasquez-Manoff about his new book An Epidemic of Absence: A New Way of Understanding Allergies and Autoimmune Diseases. He has covered science and the environment for The Christian Science Monitor and his work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, the Chicago Tribune, and The Indianapolis Star, among other publications.

We also speak with Tal McThenia and Margaret Dunbar Cutright about their new book A Case for Solomon: Bobby Dunbar and the Kidnapping that Haunted a Nation. Tal McThenia reported and wrote "The Ghost of Bobby Dunbar," a one-hour radio documentary for This American Life, and Margaret Dunbar Cutright is Bobby Dunbar's granddaughter. She has researched this case for more than a decade.
